History
The original Blind Onion Pizza and Pub was opened June 1996, at 33rd and Broadway in Portland Oregon. The second location opened in May of 1997 at Mill Plain and Grand in Vancouver, Washington.
There is currently 1 store in Portland, Oregon 4 in Vancouver, Washington, 4 in Reno, Nevada and 1 in Elko, Nevada.
The Oregon and Nevada stores operate independently and are not associated with Onion Franchise Group, LLC, the Franchisor.
The Blind Onion Pizza and Pub limited service restaurants produce a distinctive style of Pizza, Oven Baked Sandwiches, Specialty Salads and have Domestic and Micro beers on tap. Wine by the glass or bottle is also available. All products are prepared fresh for each customer as they are ordered by specific names indicated on the menu. Each named product contains ingredients complimentary to taste and presentation. Ingredient substitutions and deletions are made upon customer request. Pizzas are made in three sizes 8”, 12”, and 16” and are prepared on our hand rolled fresh dough prepared daily for each location. Salads are assembled in two sizes. Beverages and other complimentary foods are also offered. Food orders are prepared for consumption on premises or for takeout. All locations do business catering but do not do residential delivery.
The first franchised location opened in Vancouver, Washington, in October of 2013. The second franchise location was opened in Vancouver, Washington in September 2019. There are no other franchised locations at this time.
Onion Franchise Group, LLC is registered in the State of Washington to offer qualified applicants single-store franchises or the option to develop multiple store locations within an agreed-upon geographic area. A franchisee will have limited exclusivity in that area, subject to certain rights retained by Onion Franchise Group, LLC. The total number of stores in any area is determined by analyzing demographic characteristics, population, economic conditions, available locations and other factors determined by Onion Franchise Group, LLC.
